Job Summary:

Urgent Care for Children is growing! We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our UC4C team. We have full time, part time, and as needed positions available. We look forward to receiving your application.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care: 80% of the position is Medical Assistant duties

• Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standard operating protocols

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment

• Perform phlebotomy, injections, CLIA waived tests (flu/strep); apply splints and dressings and other treatment as ordered by the providers.

• Complete lab tests as per clinical protocols and as per medical provider orders

• Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format

• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments

• Help in the front office as needed, taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility

• Assist the nurse and office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed

X-Ray: 20% of the position is Radiologic Tech duties

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Takes X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

• Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.

• Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to Department Head.

• Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.

• Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.

Requirements for Interview:

• Operations hours are Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am-6pm. Full time, part time, and as needed positions are available to adjust to your schedule

• High school diploma or GED

• Successfully completed the ARRT exam

• Have or actively pursing the application for the State License

• Pediatric experience a plus

• High level of professionalism

• Strong customer service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must be willing to work in a team setting
