Job description
This position is for a Radio Frequency (RF) Test Engineer in the Sort Test Development (STTD) engineering group. The RF Test engineer will work with design, validation, and product engineering teams to develop production test solutions for innovative high-speed products.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop and configure modules (hardware/software/automation) in support of new RF test methodologies and equipment.
- Develop test methods to support production and characterization test on the high-speed products.
- Work with product engineering and manufacturing teams to support customer samples.
- Develop hardware and collaterals to support validation and design teams for signal integrity and power simulations to meet high-speed performance requirements.
- Proactively identify test related readiness, issues, gaps and optimizations throughout the life of the product and provide expedient resolution.
- Apply structure problem solving approach to identifying issues and providing production worthy solutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (4+ years experience,) or Master's degree (3+years of experience) or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering fields with experience in RF test required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Digital, Analog, Mixed signal, high speed testing, tester hardware design.
- Background in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development
- IC Test experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with lab equipment such as mixed-signal oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators.
- Experience with design and debugging of circuit boards.
- Knowledge of electrical calibration methods and/or methodology.
- Programming skills with scripting language such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
