A long-standing, not-for-profit hospital in South Bay of San Francisco in California is seeking a Quality Improvement Nurse Coordinator to provide expertise to its Quality and Compliance department. This growing organization has been providing high-quality services for over 80 years, and it continues to expand in order to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities it serves.

The Quality Management Nurse Coordinator will perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. The Quality Management Nursing Coordinator will perform duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, The Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies.

The goal of the the Quality Management Nurse Coordinator is to improve quality, service, process efficiency, patient safety and cost by providing opportunity identification, data sources, data collection, data analysis, benchmark determination and measurement of outcomes.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager of Quality Management, the Nurse Coordinator of Clinical Quality Management will perform medical record review for the medical staff performance improvement process, coordinates the physician peer review process, and maintain physician profiling data base. The RN Coordinator of Clinical Quality Outcomes will participate in establishing priorities for monitoring, establishing appropriate benchmarks and presentation of data.

The Quality Improvement Nurse Coordinator will join a hospital generally sees a full patient census daily in the inpatient center, and the outpatient services department is very busy as well.
