Job description
A Quality Engineer - FAI Reviewer job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. You are a great matching candidate if you have previously worked with first article inspections & FAI report packages, ideally within the aerospace industry. You will also be a great teammate, have the ability to work independently, and be customer service focused.
Quality Engineer job duties:
- Review FAIR Packages in compliance with AS9100 requirements
- Record non-conformances into QCPC
- Upload approved packages to meet outlined delivery schedules
Qualifications:
- Two to five years of experience working with first article inspections and/or FAI report packages
- Must have an ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with GD&T
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
- Due to the nature of our work, US citizens required
Desired but not required skills:
- Prior use of NX, Catia and/or TeamCenter
- Knowledge of Model Based Definition
- FAI certification
