SHIFT: 8AM-4:30PM

PAY: $15/HOUR

MONDAY-FRIDAY, some overtime available

JOB IS LOCATED IN SOUTHFIELD, MI

Steel Toes Boots are REQUIRED to work in this facility. Safety vest, glasses, and gloves will be given to employee by employer

BASIC FUNCTION

The primary function of the Quality Control team member is to inspect, remove extra material, sort automotive parts. Use of inspection equipment to measure tools for all parameters per Quality Line Service specifications and customer requirements. All parts need to be physically inspected either visually, through machine or with tools.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:

• Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
• Must have appropriate math skills to verify quantities.
• Must be able to spell accurately to enter detailed inventory information and verify accuracy.

PHYSICAL

• Continuous standing, sitting, and walking in warehouse environment.
• Frequent use of arms and hands to lift, carry, reach places, pull containers weighting up to 30 pounds. Frequent bending and stretching to place or remove items from pallets and to obtain necessary supplies.
• Above average hand-eye coordination to inspect various sizes of automotive parts included very small parts.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The facility is secured and with limited access. Walking and working surfaces are maintained in a clean and orderly condition. Work areas are well lighted, open storage racks and loading dock is opposite of where inspection is completed. Facility is temperature controlled. Heavy machinery makes up the majority of noice in the facility. Ear plugs are provided but not required.

Attendance is taken seriously- Lates, Tardies, and Absences are not permitted during first 30 days of employment. After 30 days, a point system is put into effect.
