Job Title: QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

General Job Description:

With minimal supervision, inspect manufactured and purchased components using the vison systems, CMMs, or manual inspection instruments. Continually audit manufactured components according to their OIP (Operator Inspection Procedure) & VWI (Visual Work Instructions).

Tasks:

1. Inspect parts where required per established procedures and specifications

2. Report and record findings to manufacturing, engineering, and quality

3. Audit manufacturing processes and verify conformance to Visual Work Instructions (VWI)

4. Maintain inspection reports and records

Responsibilities:

1. Meet or exceed Henry Wisconsin’s safety policies and procedures

2. Work closely with operators to improve product quality, VWI’s, and report discrepancies to engineering

3. Correctly use inspection equipment, i.e. micrometer, caliper, etc.

4. Report defects to the Quality Lead or Supervisor in a timely manner

5. Be a leader in continuous improvement throughout

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.77 - $20.27 per hour
