Position Summary: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Digital Marketing team is looking for a passionate and driven Quality Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). We are seeking a candidate that will establish and execute QAT/UAT process that delivers Nothing Bundt Cakes digital programs and technologies seamlessly and with confidence. Successful track record of developing and implementing quality assurance standards and measures for the digital commerce team. Introduce quality assurance strategy, policies, best practices and procedures for all system and projects, along with building test plans and cases with tactical execution. Provide detailed reporting and analytics for relevant projects. Clear and transparent communicator, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders both within and external to the organization.

Accountabilities/Duties:

• Create comprehensive and scalable quality assurance project plans for digital platforms in the eCommerce space
• Perform functional, automated, performance, compatibility and data integration testing
• Interpret project specifications (requirements, functionality and design) and determine scope of test cases needed to effectively validate features
• Proactively work with cross functional teams to define and understand functional & non-functional requirements
• Participate in requirements and user story review, ensure the appropriate acceptance criteria
• Track and report in detail all defects and fixes
• Effectively and proactively communicate statuses and coordinate cross functional meetings
• Proactively implement use of quality assurance best practices and standards
• Capture business requirements through behavior driven test scripts
• Manage all UAT resources and activities, including communication and support through various business units
• Participate in build release meetings, project planning sessions, direct troubleshooting with developers, business analysts, project managers and business sponsors
• Communicate issues with urgency based on priority and impact

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Understanding of Web Services
• Knowledge of responsive web design concepts and mobile app development
• Experience in collaboration tools such as Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• Attention to technical detail
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, testing and validation
• Proficient with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledgeable in Google Analytics
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with JIRA / Confluence or similar software development management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Toast POS and Magento/Adobe commerce platform preferred
• Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS, APIs
• Experience in working in an Agile environment
• Experience testing and validating frequent releases along with mid to large product releases
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager a plus
