QA Infection Control Nurse : RN (Registered Nurse)

Caring Place Healthcare Group is family-owned and operated with over 50 years in senior living. We have four skilled nursing facilities in Greater Cincinnati and one in Dayton, Ohio. We operate two senior living communities in Cincinnati, which offer Independent and Assisted living and/or assistance with activities of daily living, so our residents can age in place.

QA Infection Control Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• The QA Nurse is responsible for reviewing, recommending and following up on high risk residents including, but not limited to, residents with or at high risk for wounds, weight loss, restraints, falls and other events

• Develops and implements Quality Assurance initiatives for the Division as directed

• Monitors the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance Program

• Develops and facilitates educational programs related to high risk residents

• Reviews reports for facilities' tracking and trending activities related to high risk residents

• Facilitates and assists investigations on high risk residents at the business unit level

• Facilitates and monitors the development and implementation of correction action plans for quality assurance issues

• Conducts quarterly quality assurance reviews

• Assists in identifying methods by which it can improve overall efficiency and quality improvement

• Assists with the internal reviews and monitoring activities and other annual reviews as deemed appropriate

• QA Infection Control Nurse Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Experience: Must be an RN with at least two (2) years progressive clinical experience in a long term care nursing facility with at least one (1) year in risk management. Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions Must be able to walk, sit and stand intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to work with hands and fingers throughout the workday. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must be able to operate computer equipment proficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
