Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Manager your attention to detail is unmatched. You enjoy validating data and code for both validity and defects and find satisfaction knowing that your work elevates the success of the team and the company. This position is responsible for data validation in our Business Intelligence platform as well as quality control of other critical items produced within the technology department before deployment. You will be hands on and will balance tactics with strategic thinking, shift towards a higher percentage of project work and help elevate Quality Assurance effort around data validation.
Thoroughly understand our domain knowledge, allowing you to effectively test and validate within our Business Intelligence platform at all levels while simultaneously considering the impact to the business.- Performs product audits and data validation prior to release for general use.
- Document, track and resolve data validation issues identified in testing by working collaboratively with appropriate project team members.
- Understand the inter-dependencies that exist within the business in order to be able to guide decisions and actions within your domain to maximize these dependencies.
- Constantly think of practical ways to stay ahead of technological trends through enhancing the effectiveness of existing technology or through the adoption of new technology.
- Think of innovative ways to integrate, enhance, expand and utilize quality assurance efforts around data validation within our existing or future state technology landscape.
- Be a subject matter expert for your domain by staying on top of the quality assurance industry and best practices.
- 3+ years of directly related quality assurance experience specifically around data validation.
- Enhanced knowledge of quality assurance governance processes and procedures.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or directly related field.
- Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Experience with data validation within Azure, Snowflake, and Power BI environments
- Preferred experience with SQL & PL/SQL
- Preferred experience within Dental industry
- Preferred understanding of data and structure within Dental Practice Management Systems
