Stanley Consultants is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Inspector to be based on site with our U.S. Air Force client at Hanscom AFB, MA.

The main objective of the project is for providing on-site A-E Title II quality assurance oversight for the AFLCMC HQ Building repair at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the USAF Construction Management team
• Reporting of identified deficiencies to USAF stakeholders
• Ensure appropriate coverage for the total construction activities
• Monitor the construction on a daily basis, monitor the Contractor’s Quality Control efforts, assist in the review of submittals, shop drawings and As-Builts
• Develop deficiency lists and assist the Senior Project QA Manager and the Quality Assurance Manager as directed
• Be on site for all construction activities of the construction contract
• Verify construction contractor meets all commissioning, punch-list, training, and document requirements
• Perform all the Quality Assurance efforts and assignments
• Achieve project objectives including quality/scopes, budgets, and schedules

The qualifications of the candidates should include:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing
• Three years of quality control management of DoD construction projects and one year as Quality Control Management on a project with ICD 705 requirements
• Experience in MILCON projects, particularly with Air Force is desirable
• Completion of the USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) course with the last 5 years preferred
• Proven quality assurance inspection competencies
• Excellent report writing skills
