Job Description:

We are seeking to hire an individual to assist in managing, maintaining and developing our Quality Management Systems.

The Quality Management System relates to a range of applications which may include but are not be limited to:

• Fabricated sheet metal components
• Structural and sheet metal weldments
• HVAC related components
• Powder coat painting
• Assembly of commercial air handling equipment

Qualities & Skills Required:

• Effective at maintaining and enforcing standards in a firm, collaborative and positive manner
• Detail oriented and well-organized
• Effective at communicating/facilitating meetings
• Articulate and knowledgeable in Quality Control industry standards
• Efficient at using and learning new digital systems (word processing, spreadsheets, ERP)

Responsibilities:

• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action management
• Assembly/receiving/packaging process controls (checklists, testing, inspections, etc.)
• Management for internal and external audits
• Maintain the policies related to the QMS
• Document control management
• Supplier quality management (qualifying and reviewing)
• Change requests participation
• FMEA/Quality Planning for new and existing product

Education & Experience:

• Mandatory Skills/Experience
• 3+ years of Quality experience at any level
• 1+ years in a Quality at a managerial, engineering or administrator level
• Quality Control and Assurance experience including
• Root cause investigation and Corrective and Preventive Action
• Performing inspections
• Dispositioning non-conforming materials
• Developing and writing work instructions
• Developing and writing quality control checklists

• Preferred Skills/Experience
• Quality Control and Assurance experience including
• Developing and updating FMEAs and Quality Plans
• Supplier management
• Developing and writing policy

• Read and interpret design documents (including electrical drawings and schematics, etc.)

• Desired Skills/Experience
• Mechanical Engineering background
• HVAC knowledgeability
• Sheet metal fabrication knowledgeability
• Welding knowledgeability
