Role: Quality/Accuracy Technician
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 12 Months

o 3+ years’ experience preferred in quality
o 75% Travel required in USA, Mexico and Canada. Make sure candidate is eligible for International travel.
o Travel Related Questions:
o What percentage or how often? Travel is up to 75%
o Where will they need to travel? Current travel is to Mexico
o If International, to/from which countries? Mexico
o Will it be for meetings/observation? Fieldwork confirming equipment
o How soon after the offer will they be required to travel? The current travel rotation is every two weeks
o I Reminder , if travel is more than three months at a time, Dispatch, can be used; all other travel should follow the Toyota CW Travel Expense Policy. A dispatch is an option
o Please provide us with any additional details we need to be aware of for travel purposes: Must be able to get a passport
o Overtime: (If Yes, What Percentage): Yes, depending on the project schedule, overtime can be 75%
o Shift hours/ day Timing: It depends on the project schedule. But most of the time, it’s the day shift
o Is there possibility of working in Weekends? Most of the work has to be done on the weekend due to the current production
o Interview Process: The first interview is by phone. The second interview is onsite (skill assessment)
Job Duties:
o Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment.
o Gathering part information from Digital Engineering systems.
o Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
o Supporting Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
o Troubleshooting equipment, tooling, parts and part fitting.
o Analyzing part and sub-assembly data, and provide feedback to project leader(s).

· Requirements:
- Automotive Quality experience.
- Capable of using Vectorarm, FARO, scanners, or similar portable CMM equipment.
- Strong Computer skills, including: MS PowerPoint , Excel and Word.
- Able to create and maintain schedules.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
Additional Desired Qualifications, preferred but not required:
o Knowledge of DE tools related to Welding (3D Magic, PolyWorks, Catia)
o Knowledge of metrology, weld tooling design, weld tool fabrication, and CAD design experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
