Role Name – QA Test Lead

Location – Mountain View, CA

Client : HCL

Onsite / Remote : Onsite

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Strategy for the QA ecosystem
• Ensure appropriate test planning activities and test case design
• Develop decision matrix that will guide the team to the type and level of testing required for a specific project
• Outline testing process that aligns with SDLM and identifies expected inputs and outputs
• Ensure the QA Team is staffed with the appropriate technical knowledge and skill sets
• Ensure that automation is developed for Regression, Smoke, Sanity and Performance Testing
• Develop appropriate reports that provides clear view of the status of all testing activities and key metrics

Experience, skills and qualifications required for the role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Lead
• Knowledge of QA Best Practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Java or other programming language
• Experience with test automation tools

• Preferred test Certification:
• (Certified Test Engineer (CSTE); Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA); Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST); CMSQ (Certified Manager of Software Quality); ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
• Experience with reporting to leadership and storytelling

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mountain View, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
• Selenium: 1 year (Preferred)
• Test automation: 1 year (Preferred)
