Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving/inspection, RMA, & Quality laboratory
Program CMM and generate measurement reports. Analyze data and provide recommendation to Operations & Engineering to achieve quality expectation and consistency
Analyze and interpret blue prints (GD&T), models, manuals, etc. to determine specifications, inspection / testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods
Provide input on technical matters pertaining to inspection methodology and responsibility
Facilitate NCM (Non-Conforming Material) and lead continuous improvement activities to avoid recurrence
Support Continuous Improvement specialist on lean activities, member of the site lean steering committee and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives
Support customers satisfactions related to products quality, compliance to their expectations and continuously improve MIBA’s quality performance
Support ISO audits (Internal/External)
Support supplier qualification and issue resolution
Assist with ISO requirements, improvements and audits
Support compliance with company Quality & EHS policies, and expectations
Demonstrate exemplary corporate citizenship, by positively contributing to business performance, culture and values
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
3 years minimum of related working experience (Manufacturing environment experience preferred)
Able to apply critical thinking techniques where needed
Willingness to obtain ASQ and other quality certification certifications
Knowledgeable in the principles of Quality Assurance, such as ISO 9001 etc.
Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office suite
Understanding of Lean Principles is preferred
Must have working knowledge of GD&T principles and their relation to inspection
Proficiency in CMM Programming (PC-DMIS), formal training preferable
Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals across all levels of the organization
Will work independently, and should be able to manage time effectively to complete tasks in a timely manner
Should have working knowledge of basic gages and metrology
Proven ability to facilitate teams and lead improvement projects
Must be a US Citizen
