PV Designer
Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-expanding team. We are currently looking for a full-time Solar Design Assistant for reviewing site survey information in preparation for each project solar design as well as updating the CRM with information related to each project.
Skills:
- Ability to visualize the layout of obstacles while switching between 3D and 2D elements.
- Understand how racking supports, solar panels, and attachments interconnect.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow through on assigned tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations.
- High level of organizational skills and professionalism.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and drawing to scale preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Compile information from multiple sources required to complete solar design
- Update CRM with design information
- Scale files in Adobe Illustrator.
- Determine layouts to provide the highest output.
- Understand NEC, CRC, and CFC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations.
