We are currently seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team!

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, purchasing/receiving of raw materials and finished goods, prepping workstations for the following day and inventory management of all supplies within the facility.

What you will do in this role:

• Purchasing and receiving products from vendors.

• Coordinates and schedules all incoming loads of materials and equipment.

• Ensuring all necessary raw goods and supplies are properly staged daily for use by production.

• Coordinating with Project Manager and Shop Floor Supervisor for delivery of finished product.

• Implement and maintain efficiency in inventory control, storage layout and space utilization.

• Maintaining material handling and organization of raw materials on the shop floor.

• Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operation.

• Compliance to safety rules and regulations relative to areas of responsibility for the role.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Superior organizational skills.

• Possess strong leadership abilities with a detail-oriented focus.

• Must have skills utilizing spreadsheets and database-type programs. ERP system experience preferred.

• Must have the ability to work collaboratively with production crew, project managers and account executives.

• Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to be proactive and drive action accordingly

• Three years' material management experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
