G.J. Oliver, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of Steel Fabrications and API class Machinery Systems.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing / procurement preferred (industrial supply is a plus)
• Proficient in English, with professional business demeanor / language.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office® (primarily Excel®, Outlook® and Word®).
• Must be task oriented and organized with good communication skills.
• Experience with Quickbooks or comparable accounting software is a plus.

Job Description:

• Source and purchase project materials as directed by project managers.
• Ensure purchased materials are delivered as ordered, on time, and complete.
• Review material invoices for accuracy and approve for processing.
• Work with QA manager to maintain current vendor assessments and approved vendor list.
• Research and assess new potential vendors
• Evaluate and compare vendor quotes.
• Maintain vendor relations and negotiate contract pricing.
• Prepare aftermarket parts proposals, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
• Coordinate material receipt and shipments with receiving department.
• Participate in project and aftermarket parts quotes preparation as required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
