Your Opportunity: Heinrich Envelope is adding an Outsource Services Buyer in Golden Valley MN! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the production of envelopes and other print items for our customers!
Your Shift:

• Day Shift, 7:30 am- 4:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.

• Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.

• Analyze production requirements and place orders accordingly.

• Completes all aspects of the purchase order, including the return of defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise. Investigates and resolves discrepancies daily, including customer communication involving vendor changes, product recommendations, substitutions, and delivery information.

• Follow up with suppliers on open orders, past due deliveries, receiving issues and accounts payable problems.

• Maintain supplier relationships while continually searching for and renegotiating cost savings on new sourcing opportunities, with current and / or new suppliers.

• Understand internal capabilities to ensure competitive pricing obtained efficiently.

• Uses multiple systems to report data to management team.

• Partner with facility estimating/support teams on execution.

You Must Have:

• 1+ years’ experience purchasing and negotiating material and supply pricing.

• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
