DRC is one of the largest educational assessment and curriculum/instruction companies in the industry.

Purpose: Research Associate will provide general psychometric support for the Psychometricians. Duties will include working on routine assignments as well as receiving guidance and from mentorship on more complex tasks.

Qualifications:
Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in statistics, psychology, sociology, or related field is required.
• Quantitative skills
• Experience conducting or participating in quantitative research projects
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred:

• Programming experience
• Experience in educational assessment
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies
• Additional education related to measurement or statistics or research methodology

Position Responsibilities:
Assist in creating reports, which may include

• Inserting tables and graphs into Word from other programs
• Performing quality control checks on text and data summaries
• Preparing data summaries using tables and plots
• Completing data analysis

Support the psychometric teams by

• Documenting processes
• Attending project-related meetings, as required
• Reviewing and adhering to schedules
• Providing quality assurance of data files and psychometric analyses, as required
• Gaining knowledge in statistical and measurement data analysis
