The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment and consultation to patients with mental and behavioral problems. The Psychiatrist will also provide inpatient, outpatient and crisis intervention services to patients and their families in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals.
  • Perform psychosocial evaluations for patients.
  • Evaluate the social impact of psychiatric illness on the patient and family.
  • Provide consultation to nursing staff, other physicians, and other members of the health care team.
  • Advocate for patients.
  • Provide expert testimony in court when necessary.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $92.61 per hour
