Horizon Health and Subacute Center has an immediate opening for a Psych Tech for our **NEW UNIT**!

Job Duties: Provides skilled, technical patient care and services to patients according to a plan of care. Works as a team member to meet team goals and objectives. Works effectively under multiple demands and adjusts priorities as circumstances require to meet nursing/ staffing needs f the department. Maintains a high degree of accuracy and precision on a consistent basis in the performance of procedures. Treats co-workers, physicians, patients/families, visitors, and the public with dignity and respect. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all staff. Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year direct patient care experience required, along with behavioral health experience
• Completion of State of California Licensed Psychiatric Technician Program
• Current CA Licensed Psychiatric Tech (LIC PSYTEC) or LVN required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• STP: 1 year (Preferred)
• Psych Tech: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
