Westat is expanding its Proposal Pricing team and has a new opening for a Proposal Pricing Specialist. In this role you will Support the development and production of the business proposal section for RFPs, including, the pricing templates based on current approved rates and fee levels, rates, risk assessment checklist, terms, and conditions for the RFP (request for proposal) and other appropriate regulations governing the solicitation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review requests for proposals to assess appropriate pricing methodology.
• Work closely with proposal managers to prepare the pricing section of the bid.
• Evaluate proposal risks and make recommendations to the Manager Proposal Pricing, the Proposal Manager and if needed the VP Marketing. Ensure company compliance with government proposal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or accounting.
• 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of federal procurement pricing approaches.

• Demonstrated communication skills
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
• Organization skills, including time management ability
• Detail oriented
