We look forward to training an energetic and unique candidate to manage a group residential units ranging from single family homes to apartment complexes. You will be joining our tight-knit team to focus on growth and providing excellent service to tenants and prospective customers. In this role, you would be responsible for optimizing the operations of each property and ensuring the best tenants are placed in each home. Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to; create advertisements for units, screening tenant applications, ensuring all rent is collected (follow up with delinquent tenants), organizing maintenance requests and emergencies when needed, providing a positive tenant experience and kick ass on a daily basis! Our ideal candidate has worked in property management, or customer service in the past BUT IS NOT NECESSARY. Essentially as a property manager, you need to work closely with tenants to create a fantastic place to live.
Responsibilities:
- Lease vacant homes at each property
- Manage tenant requests to create a great place to live
- Manage tenant maintenance requests/emergencies and coordinate solutions
- Create advertisements so homes can be leased
- Ensure all rent is collected for the portfolio (follow up with delinquent tenants as needed)
- Create payment plans when needed and track payments
- Distribute informational notices and rent increases
- Ability to drive between Wausau and Stevens Point regularly
Skills and experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to mold into a role with limited experience
- Proficient customer service over the phone and in person
- Ability to think and react quickly to different situations
- Must be able to manage conflict calmly and professionally
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
