Job description
We are a well established teaching facility, focusing on dressage and eventing for all levels of riders. We enjoy teaching people about horses and horsemanship and helping riders of all levels and abilities enjoy horses. We are looking for a team player that shares our interest in bringing horses to all people and takes pride in running a professional facility.
The perfect team member would enjoy working with kids and families, be a team player, enjoy working with our teenage working student program, be knowledgeable on equine care AND farm maintenance (including driving a tractor, fixing fences, pasture management, etc), and be willing to learn and grow with our program. We offer weekly lessons, have an Athletic Equestrian League Team, have an Show Team, promote 4-H, host outside groups such as Girl Scouts and Scouts, and host summer camps.
Requirements
Enjoying working with kids and beginners is extremely important. While this is not a teaching riding lessons position, you will be teaching people (kids and adults) how to care for horses how to maintain an equine property and working with teenage working students.
