Job Summary:

Woodfin-Your Home Team is growing our team of Propane Delivery Drivers in order to continue to best serve the Richmond and surrounding areas! The Propane Delivery Driver delivers propane to our residential and commercial customers by operating a Propane Bobtail truck and ensuring our delivery service remains a sought-after experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations and customers.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company procedures.
• Operates company truck and/or personal vehicle in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Engages in daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires.
• Possesses a drive, determination, professionalism, and the desire to be a significant factor in growing our business.
• Meets all DOT requirements.
• Inspects, paints, repairs and loads tanks and cylinders, as well as maintains the appearance of our displays and signs.
• Performs and accurately documents leak checks on tank run outs.
• Assists in handling and maintaining flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
• Maintains Woodfin vehicle, office, plant and yard for a professional appearance.
• Supports the 20 lb. cylinder exchange program with our commercial retail partner sites.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid Class B or Class A CDL license is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred.
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience is required.
• Experience with 20 lb. cylinder exchange is preferred.

Job Requirements:

• A valid drivers license and clean driving record is required.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills to communicate with customers.
• Able to operate various machinery (e.g. forklift).
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
