Job Summary:
The Project Manager is a focused, inquisitive, multi-tasking team player who works in a highly collaborative manner with focus on both financial and client objectives. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to drive the completion of multiple projects through collaboration across the agency’s various departments while maintaining accuracy and scope. In doing so, the Project Manager ensures high quality and timely delivery of direct marketing projects across all disciplines, with a focus on print and digital. The Project Manager will facilitate and lead all aspects of a project (planning, production, invoicing) and manage the day-to-day details in partnership with Client Services. Critical to the success of this role will be the management of expectations from all agency departments for the following: accountability, negotiating, team building and communication.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of project flow with date-driven milestones for all deliverables and project timelines from conception to final billing for assigned direct mail and digital projects.
Facilitate the overall production process–including project scoping, scheduling, status updates, artwork review, data collection and hand off, client review process and billing.
Work in partnership with Traffic on all project template schedules and timeline adjustments.
Knowledge of creative artwork layout and interpretation of production specifications.
Manage project estimating in partnership with Director of Print, including requesting and negotiating package pricing.
Upon completion of projects, lead Postmortem project review.
Ensure all elements of projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work in concert with Traffic Manager to adjust timelines to address changes in scope, prioritization, and schedule challenges.
Investigate and address challenges and delays within the process flow.
Highlight potential risks, challenges and delays within project plans and facilitate proactive resolution.
Ability to address conflict, negotiate through differing opinions and move a group towards consensus, to move projects forward.
Create and deliver weekly status reports.
Lead weekly production status calls.
Initiate project billing with Accounting and Client Service teams.
Uphold the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Education and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a professional agency Project Management, Production Management or Operations role
Direct marketing agency experience required.
Expertise in using MS Office software with proven experience in Excel.
Experience using Wrike Project Management software, a plus.
