We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager with experience in working with teams during the preconstruction phase of water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have the right combination of technical and problem-solving aptitude and off-the-charts interpersonal skills to apply to leading multi-stakeholder teams for success.

Project Manager Daily Life

• Creates cost estimates for Process Equipment, Instrumentation & Control and Electrical portions of collaborative delivery and hard bid projects
• Creates and manages CPM schedules utilizing P6 for assigned projects
• Leads purchasing efforts for assigned projects
• Works collaboratively with internal team, designers and project Owners
• Performs iterative design and value engineering reviews; prepares and prices VE concepts
• Manages and maintains positive relationships with Clients, Subcontractors, and Vendors
• Trains and develops assigned staff including Preconstruction Engineers, Estimators, Co-op/Interns

Project Manager Must Haves

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or Construction Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 year experience in Water Infrastructure Construction.
• Experience leading collaborative delivery projects (CMAR & Design-Build)
• Experience working successfully on teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Project Manager Nice to Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Certification
