Job description
The Project Manager will assist the Medical Lien leadership team, and SVP, Product Strategy in particular, in managing and directing ongoing projects and initiatives for the organization. This position will develop and manage multiple, concurrent project plan schedules while monitoring projects daily to track progress. The Project Manager will ensure that project design, goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframes and budget constraints.
This position is based in our Las Vegas, Nevada office and requires in-office work.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement processes to improve business practices throughout the department; lead process improvement efforts to include project planning and execution and other administrative and operational duties as required
· Create and maintain accurate project plans in conjunction with stakeholders
· Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
· Proactively manage and mitigate project risks
· Facilitate timely and data-driven decision-making to support project timelines and budgets, engaging stakeholders and leaders as needed
· Extract performance metrics from various systems (with an eye on automation) to feed reporting
· Keep Senior Leadership Team informed of all project status
· Contribute to ad hoc projects, attending/leading meetings, tracking and following up as directed by management
Requirements:
· 3 – 5 years of Healthcare background preferred
· Project Management certification preferred
· Ability to create technical project plans–multiphase Gantt charts, resource tracking, critical path monitoring, etc.
· Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology
· Conceptual knowledge of practices and procedures within medical lien funding preferred
· Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills
· Possess an analytic mindset and be comfortable with numbers
· Possesses leadership skills
· Demonstrated excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
· Tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing projects and priorities
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
· Knowledge of Smartsheet (Project Management Platform) preferred
