Qualifications and Responsibilities:

· Follow VA policies and procedures for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), work with government and contractor PMO support teams to support successful deployments

· Experience and demonstrated success in client-facing consulting roles performing planning, implementing, and troubleshooting functions

· Assist clients in building and strengthening relationships with their business customers

· Understand and support the Agile delivery model, whether Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Kanban or other iterative development approaches, in a DevSecOps context using Agile tools

· Assist clients in building and strengthening relationships with their business customers

· Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation for internal reports and dashboards

· Provide recommendations to end users and leaders on industry best practices for documentation, processes, and tools based on client needs and objectives

· Support Jira data entry and reporting

· Consult on ways to optimize and improve tools and process workflows

· Communicate well with other leaders, teams, and stakeholders

· Develop and deliver high-quality work products and provide proactive improvement recommendations

· Responsible for on-time completion of all tasks assigned

· Ability to gather, validate, and evaluate project, product, and program data to analyze effectiveness and develop ad hoc and recurring reports in short suspense

· Experience gathering and analyzing data on product performance, including metrics included in accountability reporting

· Experience with VA development and release processes is highly desired

· Understanding and supporting the Agile delivery model, whether Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Kanban or other iterative development approaches

· Understanding of DevOps and Tools

· Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge

· Able to perform document reviews at an expert level

· Ability to collect information through observation and other means and brief others to improve overall understanding of key technical and business process information

Requirements:

· Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline

· 15 Years of Experienced Required (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)

· Experience and demonstrated success in client-facing consulting roles performing planning, implementing, and trouble-shooting functions

· Ability to manage and maintain positive relationships on all levels from team members to executives

· Ability to document, track and manage project risks and issues

· Strong communication/presentation skills to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and leadership

· Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision

· Experience building, managing, and enforcing standards

· Effectively prioritizes work, troubleshoots issues, communicates, and completes tasks on time

· Must have strong Excel reporting abilities; Pivot tables, pivot charts, slicers, building dashboards

· Experience with VA is mandatory

· Experience with VA legacy systems (e.g., VistA) preferred

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
