Job Description:
Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Project Lead based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: prepare project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization; oversee various streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction; ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements, expressed in approved service requests; ensure that the project meets its deliverables in an agreed schedule, according to the scope, within stipulated budget, and to quality standards; manage customer escalation by assigning tasks to subordinates and ensuring closure; and initiate resource requests, conducted interviews and allocated new hires to projects.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 4 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as Program Manager, Engagement Manager, or related IT position. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards a U.S. bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered, as Program Manager, Engagement Manager, or related IT position. The applicant must also have: 1) Any period of experience overseeing project operations including project planning, organizing, staffing, forecasting, and project financial management; 2) Any period of experience overseeing all aspects of system implementation, including requirements gathering, future state solution design, development of objects related to their process scope, and testing and post implementation support; 3) Any period of experience performing gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development of project planning; 4) Any period of experience performing full life cycle project implementations; 5) Any period of experience guiding team of resources, including Consultants or Vendors; 6) Any period of experience with project management tools, including MS Project or Clarity; and 7) Any period of experience providing guidance to internal or external stakeholders.
