Hanover Company is looking for a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to work at our Hanover projects in San Jose, California.
Our team is a national design build, internally project managed/supervised development/GC firm. Interaction with project management, all design staff, subcontractor community, apartment management planning, and arch of record are critical. Short and long term scheduling/planning is a must while being cognizant of budget constraints.
This position will report to the Project Manager of the project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Project Managers and Superintendents in updating the project schedule, also assisting with procurement and project cost tracking. Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications. The Project Engineer will also play a role in tracking and managing the distribution of plans and plan changes, and managing the submittal and RFI process for the project. Career path tracks to Assistant Project Manager then Project Manager.

Qualifications:
Must be a self-starter with emphasis on excellent communication skills as well as attention to detail.
Four-year degree in building science or civil engineering required.
