Sinclair Broadcast Group has an opening for a Programming Coordinator. As Programming Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking programming titles & formats into the traffic system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receiving, interpreting, and imputing programming titles, segment timings and formats with secondary events into the Traffic system.
- Communicate and work with outside program vendors to obtain formats for movies, live events, specials, and other programming.
- Ensure that information from programming grids/schedules matches to the Traffic system.
- Check formats daily to ensure correct media IDs are present and formats A-line with episode numbers.
- Organize and keep network formats for reference.
- Act as a back-up to other team members when deemed necessary for coverage.
- Aid as needed for all processes as it relates to programming on the networks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in traffic or similar field is preferred.
- Experience with OSI or Wide Orbit traffic systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
- Great people skills and ability to work positively with all personality types.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and customer service skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have keen attention to detail with focus on accuracy and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be dependable and demonstrate high standards consistently reaching for excellence.
- Must be proactive and efficient with time management.

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $19.00 to $21.85. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
