Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management
    • Oversee and be accountable for a portfolio of work that furthers strategic company objectives
    • “Zoom in" to projects to help manage and course-correct as needed;
    • Define and regularly report on metrics and measurement for programs and projects within the portfolio
  • Strategy
    • Drive strategic alignment across business units to succeed against company-wide goals
    • Advise on the necessary approaches to achieve success
    • Execute against a roadmap or framework for those programs.
  • Drive Alignment
    • Drive strategic alignment across business units to succeed against company-wide goals
    • Drive adoption of new processes across the organization.
  • Manage Risk
    • Continuously monitor portfolio exposure and ensure appropriate risk communication, escalation, and risk mitigation plans are in place.
    • Determine if the implementation plans meet stakeholder requirements and will achieve strategic objectives, and course correct if not
  • Regularly report on program and project status, milestones, and next steps
  • Own business outcomes by working with multiple business teams to drive effective execution in a manner that supports strategy defined by XXL Leadership

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and meet emerging needs, including defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and development/management of processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and concisely communicate to leadership to set expectations, tell a story, highlight and resolve misalignment; Comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve buy-in at all levels and influence without authority, including team-building, motivation, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers, impacts, technical considerations and individual motivations; Successful at getting buy-in for your ideas, leveraging data where impactful.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems with good judgment, critical thinking, and creative solutioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive progress without formal authority
  • Demonstrated customer centric mindset, including ability to manage key (internal and external) customer relationships through gathering data and making informed, critical decisions quickly, with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward amid stalling forces

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
