The Program Manager is dedicated to a specific client for the main purpose of supporting the client’s global meetings and event management strategy. This resource is expected to drive adoption of Cvent's products, increase revenue opportunities, and improve the overall success of the client relationship.
In This Role, You Will::
  • Fixed-term contract for that would last until September 2023, with the potential of lasting until the end of 2023
  • Would be working in the spectrum of US East Coast or as early as UK shift hours
  • Formulate project-related goals, objectives, operating policies, strategic plans, guidelines, governance, and standards
  • Lead program strategies with key stakeholders and others to ensure department timelines and deliverables are met
  • Operationalize strategic plans with timely execution of deliverables
  • Create, administer, and maintain detailed project plans, which will include all required activities, tasks, risks, issues, and resources requirements
  • Identify and report on potential barriers to progression and present solutions
  • Create reports and analyze data to provide recommendations for changes that can be made to support client objectives
  • Recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Proactively and independently solve problem when challenges present themselves
  • Implement change management strategies to ensure successful execution of the program and to improve targeted outcomes
  • Ensure all work is performed according to contractual requirements and performance standards, which may include maintaining client’s account configuration and other system administrator duties
  • Monitor user adoption and system usage and recommend strategies to increase usage/adoption
  • Design, coordinate, and conduct user training on client’s meetings and events program as it relates to Cvent technology
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Act as Client’s advocate within Cvent’s management and technology groups by managing activities and liaising between the client and the various Cvent departments including Technology, Sales, and Client Services
  • Act as Client’s advisor regarding technology solutions, features, and functionality
  • Cultivate new business opportunities by asking questions, mining opportunities presented and sharing findings with sales partners
  • Work flexible hours to support a global account / team (this may sometimes include other work outside the standard workday or on weekends or conference calls)
  • Other duties as assigned
Here's What You Need::
  • 10+ years meetings industry experience
  • 5+ years project management/program management experience
  • Cvent Event Management Certification required. Cvent Event Management Advanced Certification and Cvent System Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Strong sense of accountability; resourcefulness in identifying a problem or process improvement and following through to implement
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in an ambiguous environment within a fast-paced corporate organization
  • Proven ability to work with others in a demanding environment to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence across multiple levels of an organization
  • Proven analytical skills with consistent high attention to detail; accuracy in spelling and grammar
  • Strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
  • Strong communication skills through all mediums with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships (for all levels of an organization, including executives)

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • University Degree or equivalent corporate experience
  • Experience using Gainsight, HTML and CSS are a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
