Program Manager (Non-Profit)
Job Description
Job Type: Full-time
Requirements
● Minimum of Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
● Ample experience working with youth, specifically with program implementation
● Grant reporting and data collection experience (preferred)
● Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
● Flexible schedule depending on program needs
● Primary schedule is Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm. Schedule may switch during summer to meet the needs of programs being implemented.
Desirable Knowledge or Skills
● Knowledge of needs of children within the Phillipsburg community
● Ability to plan, schedule, and execute athletic, recreational, and educational programs
● Excellent interpersonal skills with employees, volunteers, youth and families
● Data collection and budgeting skills
● Ability to prepare accurate reports in Microsoft Excel
● Proficient skills in Microsoft Word
● Excellent written and communication skills
Responsibilities
● Development and implementation of programs
● Conduct and/or teach advertised programs
● Assess needs and ensure that program objectives are met
● Aid in the development of program’s budget and fundraising events
● Assist in grant writing if needed
● Community outreach
● Complete tasks related to the development and growth of the organization
● Support the mission and goals of the Firth Youth Center
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: Range of $38,000-$48,000. Salary to commensurate with experience.
