Visa’s Legal Operations is seeking a talented Program Management Associate to join the team to assist with department programs and initiatives. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple projects, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position will report to the Senior Program Manager of Training & Legal Programs.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, schedule and send calendar invites to department training, orientation and initiative events, and provide logistical support for same
Assist in the collection, development and/or finalization of meeting/training materials
Maintain online training course archive and depository of training materials
Assist with updating online new hire onboarding learning content in Visa University digital campus platform
Draft department communications, including newsletters, new hire announcements and department initiatives/events
Assist with maintaining and updating department resources to ensure contents and materials are current
Collaborate with Visa University team to create/add learning content on Visa’s online learning platform, and to assign Visa University credit for participating in learning events
Assist with issuance of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credit to relevant training participants and maintenance of records to ensure continuous compliance as an MCLE provider with the State Bar of California, and provisioning user access to CLE provider, Practising Law Institute and other online resources
Recommend improvements to existing programs and processes, and assist with the implementation and enhancement of those programs and processes
Coordinator for department all staff meetings, trainings, and events to ensure meeting rooms are reserved and other logistic requests are timely made
Work with other cross-functional teams, including IT/Visa TV and Visa University teams, to obtain necessary logistical support for department trainings and events
Create and maintain various reports to track KPIs
Provide support for department special projects as appropriate
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience preferably in a global, public company or a law firm with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
- PowerPoint wiz with eye for creativity and design
- Proficient with other Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms and Teams.
- Can-do attitude. Must be proactive and solution-oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, respond to needs quickly and efficiently and prioritize work with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. Experience working with teams outside the US is a strong plus.
- Exercise excellent judgment in setting priorities and interacting with internal and external contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong focus on customer service, team player mentality and ability to work collaboratively with others.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 69,000.00 to 88,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
