Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
Under general supervision develops and coordinates activities relative to the administrative and business operations of the PNC Entrepreneurship Center and JHJ School of Business. Reports to the Director of PNC Entrepreneurship Center.

This is a Grant Funded position.

Essential Duties Summary
  • Coordinates the daily administrative and business operations of the Center including preparing and monitoring office correspondence, contacts and various information pertaining to the Center.
  • Compiles program assessment and evaluation data of the Center and distributes information and materials to various internal and external contacts.
  • Performs liaison activities with internal departments and external constituencies. Responds independently within the scope of responsibility.
  • Compiles and prepares various reports, correspondence and requisitions to facilitate operations.
  • Participates in the program/project planning, development, and achievement of established goals and objectives.
  • Organizes/facilitates/coordinates Center and other meetings for general and special functions as directed. Prepares and distributes documentation to inform all constituencies of meetings, special events, and research opportunities as directed. Prepares meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Maintains files and information for students, faculty, and public inquiry.
  • Assists with Center outreach.
  • Maintains databases.
  • Oversees and maintains the budget including budget reporting and tracking of expenditures.
  • Completes and submits the annual performance report.
  • Develops and distributes Center materials, including brochures, information flyers, announcements, application packets, and other reports as directed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the director and the dean.

Hiring Range
$48,273.00 - $60,341.00

Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required Licensing/Certification
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
  • Policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Other job-related, banner systems, software and systems.
  • Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work. Demonstrates general competence and growing knowledge and understanding of the overall function or discipline.
  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
Skill in:
  • Problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Multitasking and time management.
  • Both verbal and written communication.
Ability to:
  • Prepare detailed reports.
  • Work independently.
  • Communicate effectively.

Work Experience
One (1) to three (3) years of related experience.

Working/Environmental Conditions
  • Limited standing and/or walking.
  • Handling light weight objects.
  • Using or carrying equipment.
  • Stoop, bend or lift.
