Remote within California, ~15-20% travel.
Contract through 06/30/2024, possibility for extension.
The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation.
What You’ll Do
The Program Coordinator, Equity, Golden State Education Training and Grant Program (GSETGP) will serve as a member of the Foundation for California Community Colleges (Foundation) Equity department and will provide support to GSETGP project team. Through this project, the Foundation will promote the GSETGP and attract eligible applicants in their respective communities. The Program Coordinator will provide support for the implementation of a comprehensive strategic outreach plan with specific tactics and resources to reach eligible recipients, providers, and community partners. The tactics include a large peer-to-peer ambassador outreach program, administration of the distribution of grants to partners, development of outreach materials, and oversight of a social media campaign. Under the direction of the Project Manager, Equity (GSEGTP) and in line with the Foundation’s strategic plan, the Program Coordinator’s primary role is to provide support to the overall project and coordinate specific components of the GSETGP project.
What You Bring
· Promote smooth and efficient program development by collaborating cross-functionally across departments.
· Coordinate communication among associations, stakeholders, and team members to foster collaboration and connections between partners.
· Liaise directly with partners on the GSETGP project and other various state-wide programs or projects.
· Manage and maintain multiple databases to keep departmental data up to date.
· Seek out opportunities to improve departmental processes, programs, and projects.
· Process incoming and outgoing correspondence for the department and keep Management updated accordingly.
· Compile information for the timely preparation of reports and distributes to appropriate individuals within established timelines.
· Maintain accurate filing systems with the highest regard for confidentiality.

· Some working experience with calendaring and scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
