Job Summary

Evaluator & project manager works closely with the University of Louisiana at Monroe Harm Reduction Education and Referral for Opioid Overdose Reversal (ULM H.E.R.O) Program and ULM College of Pharmacy faculty to analyze and interpret data for research and reporting efforts. Location: New Orleans.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes data from all project directors, project team members, and collaborators
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, midpoint, and yearly reports and updates
  • Prepares reports for ULM HERO community advisory board
  • Submits reports and data to meet deadlines
  • Conducts quality improvement for ULM HERO project
  • Follow best practices in data collection, storage, analysis, and governance.
  • Validate, match, and structure data from multiple sources for analysis.
  • Communicate actionable data-driven insights to improve and optimize services and operations.
  • Prioritize projects and assignments to meet organizational deadlines and priorities.
  • Seek funding opportunities and prepare documents for submission
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively explain complex information. Strong documentation skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, ask critical questions, and obtain pertinent information and details.
  • High energy level. Self- starter; willing to take initiative.
  • Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and business ethics and conduct.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, health informatics, public health, information technology, or other relevant field of study. An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, or certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience working on large grant projects in data analysis and management
  • Experience performing statistical tests on data sets using SPSS, SAS, R, or other advanced statistical software - required.
  • Experience using programs such as REDcap and project management software.
