General Summary:
Looking for person who is energetic, self-motivated to join our growing engineering team. The Professional Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project successfully and efficiently. This position works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.
- Identify project phases and elements.
- Create project guidelines and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Schedule and monitor engineering tasks.
- Interact with clients and interpret their needs.
- Create and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions.
- Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance.
- Establish testing methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
- Manage the team of engineers working on the assigned project
- Regular, reliable, consistent and punctual attendance is required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned
Qualifications:
- Leadership abilities
- Ability to exercise independent thinking, creativity, and initiative
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrate desire to learn new skills as technologies change
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation
- Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry
Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual work 40+ hours per week with 90% of time spent in the office and 10% in the field. Travel may be necessary dependent on the jobsite location.

- Frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
