Techniseal, now a division of Oldcastle® Building Products, is located on the South Shore of Montreal and is an innovative Canadian company originally founded in 1984. We develop, manufacture and distribute a full range of premium quality products for the cleaning and protection of exterior surfaces. World leader in the production of Polymeric Sand and of treatment products for concrete pavers and slabs, Techniseal is active in Canada, the United States and Europe. Now part of Techniseal USA, Sterling Sand is a manufacturer and distributor of specialty sand. We service customers in the southeastern United States and beyond. Job Summary

We are currently looking for production workers on our day and evening shift. Your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Bag and palletize polymeric sand
• Operate and supervise the production machines to ensure it runs continuously and smoothly
• Ensure the process is respected and that the quality of the finish products meets the requirements
• Drive a forklift on a need basis (driver’s license and forklift certification)

Requirements / Education / Experience

• Able to work with autonomy and organized
• Able to lift 50 pounds bags and do repetitive manual work
• Sense of initiative and dynamic person
• Team player and committed/engaged
• Manufacturing experience is a definite asset

Compensation

• Hourly rate - Starting at $14/hour
• Evening shift premium: $2/hr worked
• Work schedule : 40 hrs/week (evening shift : 3 : 30 pm to midnight)
• 3 days for personal time off per calendar year paid out if not used on the last pay of the year
• 2 weeks’ vacation per calendar year for the first 2 years and 3 weeks’ vacation starting the 3rd year of service + 5 paid holidays between Christmas and New Year
