Job Title: Production Team Member

Reports To: Production Supervisor Revision: August 2014

Position Details

Ensure proper stacking of cases of product onto pallets and assisting in case packing while monitoring product quality, productivity with minimum downtime.

Education and Experience Requirement

1. High school or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

1. Ability to stand, climb, stoop and bend on continuous basis.

2. Ability to lift 35 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

2. Visual acuity and verbal communications skills.

3. Self-motivated, good work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety rules and regulations.

2. Pack product into cases while monitoring product quality.

3. Ensure proper stacking of finished product cases in required pallet footprint.

4. Ensure proper packaging materials are utilized according to production schedule.

5. Follow direction of Lead Handpacker; cross train for Lead Hand Packer position. Ability to fill in for

Lead Handpacker when absent.

6. Communicate any quality or safety issues in appropriate, timely manner.

7. Ensure minimum product waste and maintain neat and clean work area.

8. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

9. Other reasonable duties, as assigned, including assisting other lines as required.

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
