How you will impact Silgan Dispensing Systems:
- Expedite all molding and assembly production requirements using the documented production plan and priority lists.
- Establish and maintain effective communication of production needs across all shifts. Provides coaching and technical expertise to shift supervisors.
- Responsible for completing customer orders on time in full to the targeted promised date.
- Assist Engineering in analyzing and resolving production process issues and quality problems including introduction of new processes and equipment.
- Responsible for production and supervision on all shifts and weekends.
- Establish a solid working relationship with Automation, Maintenance, Tooling and Quality.
- Responsible for process development and acts as a liaison to automation, tooling, quality, and engineering.
- Support and foster a working environment to encourage continuous improvement and early problem detection and resolution
- Investigate and address all safety issues as they are identified.
- Responsible for discipline and policy adherence
- Ensure employees have necessary material to work productively. Delegate workload among employees and monitor performance.
- Develops and maintains adherence to the Molding and Assembly financial budget.
- Attends a variety of meetings and works on a variety of special projects directed by the Operations Manager.

- A four-year college degree with five (5) to eight (8) years job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge in systematic assembly and molding and assembly/molding machinery as well as demonstrated and supervisory skills are necessary to perform this job.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,
- Ability to create graphs and analysis in Excel
- Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts
