Job description

We're currently searching for a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift in our Brunswick Facility! You'll be responsible for providing leadership, coordination and guidance, and safety to manufacturing personnel in a manner that ensures Molnlycke consistently meets or exceeds product quality, customer service expectations, productivity and financial objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Leads and coordinates multi-shift production departments and personnel.
• Provides direct supervision to, and promotes two-way communication with all production employees.
• Works closely with all departments to maintain focus on KPI reporting / monitoring. Understand the importance / impact of good sound maintenance practices on factory performance.
• Develops, recommends and implements improvements in workplace safety, productivity, quality, cost, and lean methodologies.
• Manages day-to-day activities and ensures coordination between all shifts.
• Collaborates with other supervisor(s) and Manager to hire qualified manufacturing personnel.
• Maintains attendance records.
• Maintains quality and production records.
• Analyzes and resolves work related problems, assists workers in resolution of work problems. Develops, implements and documents employee corrective actions.
• Effectively communicates with Quality Assurance personnel.
• Responsible for effectively communicating daily objectives to direct reports. Confers with other supervisors and managers to coordinate activities of supporting departments.
• Troubleshoots production equipment.
• Modifies work instructions and/or procedures as necessary in accordance with ISO and FDA guidelines.
• Provides and/or coordinates on-the-job training to direct reports.
• Directs and coordinates manufacturing activities in support of production plan.
• Provides inventory control support and first level of SAP support.
• Assists the Factory Manager with the development and preparation of short-term and long-term budgets, staffing requirements, operating plans, and capital plans necessary to support the Company's business plan.
• Leads the effort to implement best practices within job scope; expected to participate in activities designed to improve production, quality and safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 year Associates or higher education preferred with Major in sciences or trades a plus.
• 5 or more years manufacturing experience in a process focused manufacturing environment preferred.
• Manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• CNC machining, high tech production, or similar process line experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62,842.00 - $66,651.00 per year
