We are currently seeking to hire a Production Supervisor in Hatfield PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production setting, has successfully led a team, and will be extremely organized. Ability to communicate in a professional manner and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will have at least 1 to 3 years of experience leading the production of a line or department. Fresco Foods is growing rapidly and will have several opportunities for growth and career development.

Qualifications:

· Manufacturing or production experience

· 1-3 years of experience, knowledge of production, assembly of products and packaging lines

· 5s knowledge a plus.

· Proven track record of problem solving analytical skills.

· Experience developing and maintaining company records relating to process work flows, recipes, equipment maintenance, USDA, OSHA, FDA, and other regulatory organizations;

· Understanding of HACCP, GFSI programs/audit schemes (SQF)

· High energy and strong team orientation

Responsibilities and duties:

· Lead the production of prepared food items, specifically the assembly/plating and packaging, instilling direction of Plant Operations Manager to a 5-10 member crew.

· Work closely with the organization’s leadership team on production plans, goals and future projects to guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability of operations

· Create and lead culture of continuous improvement by establishing and measuring effectiveness and efficiencies by the way of KPIs and other Lean tools

· Ability to assist with maintaining equipment on production line to ensure highest yield.

· Promote and instill a strong quality culture that ensures strong relationships with employees and customers

· Communicate with all leadership to ensure alignment of operations planning and agreed upon company objectives

· Effectively builds relationships on trust, open and honest communications improving employee morale and engagement

· Provide leadership, communication and coaching to direct reports

· Assist leadership with creation and sustainment of culture of safety ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
