Job description

Responsible for tracking the extrusion segment orders to meet the required date and updating the data in manufacturing reports to maintain efficient monitoring of the On Time Delivery to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and Coordination with the areas of glass, extrusion and purchases to confirm the production orders and shipping dates.
• Ensure that demand and production load are balanced.
• Develops the capacity analysis as part of the MPS process and ensures the optimization of the orders and generation of Jobs.
• Ensures that MPS is up to date on the system.
• Communicate changes to the MPS to all affected internal parties and customers.
• Continuously monitor the performance of the product against the indicators and coordinate the activities and projects to improve them continuously.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly production plan to ensure demand and confirmed dates are met. Anticipates risk of capacity and/or material availability to support the production plan.
• Provides in-house customer service regarding status and date of orders.
• Give the necessary follow-up in a way that ensures that the "On Time Delivery" is fulfilled according to the metrics established by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering preferably
• Experience in planning and logistics in similar industries - 3 years minimum
• Experience in material handling and activities production (Planning, Scheduling, Customer Services, Shipping, Warehouse, Inventory Management, Purchasing), preferable.
• Orientation to the use of computerized Information Systems. This includes ERP, Capacity Planning, Shopfloor Control, and the use of Excel, Word, and others.
• Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing methodology.
