Highly organized candidate to manage its studio crew and show schedules. Candidate should have previously worked in live Television production. The preferred candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills as well as some accounting skills and can manage a team by example.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage studio crew and show schedules
• Supervises and hires technical crew including Camera, utilities, audio, makeup artists
• Where applicable manage production budgets
• Makes changes to the budget and schedule as required, such as rescheduling as needed
• Provide daily post show status report
• Works with Studio Manager to ensure stock of production consumables
• Ensures the production complies with health and safety regulations
• Handles issues which arise during the course of the production

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 2+ years managing, or equivalent knowledge. 3 years in live TV production

· Business sense with strong planning, negotiation, and management skills

· Superior organizational skills

· Basic Accounting skills and ability to create Excel spreadsheets.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Understanding of studio and production equipment

· Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work on deadline

· An ability to work in a high pressure, 24/7 news environment

· Solutions-based, team player

· Available during non-typical business hours (nights & weekends)

· Travel requirement, 5%
