We are looking for talented Machine Operators for a variety of roles & shifts at our Fridley, MN plant which produces baked goods.
· Rheon Operators – All shifts available
· Oven Operators – All shifts available
·Mixer Operator – All shifts available
Pay range $21.80-$25.90 depending on specific role and shift.
Operator positions are responsible for operating packaging processes, maintaining established operating speeds, and product make-up specifications with specific focus on product quality, efficiencies and food safety. The position is defined as skilled. Position requirements include good communication skills, baking process knowledge or other food related manufacturing experience as well as the ability to communicate, read and practice basic math skills. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
· Machine Operators are responsible for communication, and organization as it relates to the entire process and to those directly or indirectly involved in the direct area of responsibility
· Machine Operators are required to comply with all food safety/quality policies and procedures as defined by ConAgra to include but not limited to; HACCP, cGMP’s, and general housekeeping practices.
· Specific job requirements depend on equipment operated
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 1+ year experience machine operation. Food manufacturing preferred
· Must possess basic math and computer skills, as well as good communication skills, both verbal and written
· One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus
· Able to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors
· Responsible for knowing and adhering to (GMS) Good Manufacturing Standards
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
· Ability to complete reports and forms
· Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions
· Able to work around flour and cinnamon and other bakery ingredients as part of the daily activities
· Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling and moving about the facility
· Able to work in both a hot and cold environment
· Works with potentially hazardous chemicals and/or equipment
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
