Advanced Steel Technology, has been a staple in the community for over 30 years! We are growing and are looking for experienced CNC Machine Operators and Gas & Laser Machine Operators to join our team!

These positions will complete the following:

• Sets up, adjust and operate computer controlled beveling/bending/cutting machines to cut plate steel components according to design specifications and company quality standards.
• Performing safety checks of all equipment prior to use and maintain related log and documentation.
• Selecting and reading blue prints and related documents for parts to be processed.
• Measure steel components to verify dimensions, calculate angles, plan sequence of bevels and determines route face remaining
• Completing quality checks sheet for parts being processed
• Completing job orders and updates AST production data and product tracking system
• Stacking. labeling and positioning parts onto pallets in prescribed manner and completing order paperwork
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards in assigned area.
• Performing all duties while following established safety procedures and guidelines using assigned safety equipment and personal protective gear.
• Performing additional duties as required and instructed by authorized supervisor(s).
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Hourly positions start at $15/hour with benefits on your third month of employment.

• Applicant must have a high school diploma/GED.
• Must pass Work Keys-Math, Reading, Workplace Documents. We can give you these on site if you have not taken them.
• Before hire applicant must complete and pass a drug screen, physical exam, and a criminal background check.
