What is the Job?
- Responsible to direct workflow to ensure daily production demands are met.
- Participate in daily activities with staff in work unit to meet department goals.
- Consult with Production Supervisor and other Leads about schedule priorities for the shift.
- Assists as a Production Support when other Lead responsibilities are completed
- Provides training and leadership to team members within the area.
- Shows appreciation to co-workers by recognizing their work and provides recommendation for rewards to the Production Supervisor.
- Provides recommendations to Production Supervisor in the areas of policy development, process changes, quality improvements, cost reductions, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary business and employee information.
- Efficiently uses materials and other supplies and notifies the correct person when supplies run low.
What You Bring:
- Knowledge of production processes normally acquired through six (6) months experience in a similar position required.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and identify minuet quality errors necessary.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
